TRUMP NEEDS SOME NEW SCHTICK

I'm loving the Trump campaign but he needs some new material, the low energy thing is being overdone. He needs to show his biggest strong points, what made him the success he is.

What I like most about Donald Trump is that he attracts good people. I've always found his employees to be very professional, sometimes sounding a lot better than him.

I think his strongest selling point is his success. " Make America Great Again" works. How about "Simply Incorruptible"?

YOU JUST CAN'T TRUST THE MEDIA

It seems that the media is selling the Trump machine short. They overlook the Trump campaign stops and constantly defend Clinton.

This week they were constantly saying how Trump was dropping in the polls, yet when Fiorina rose from something like 4% to 8% they described it as a surge.

What I like about Trump is he is smart to hire the best people.  IMO he doesn't have to know the answers as long as he knows how to find the person who has them.  Let's face it, he doesn't need a job, he sure doesn't need the office space but his ego wants to be the one who turns this all around.

Bill Clinton On The Campaign Trail Again

They've dusted off old Bill and shipped him to Iowa. I've always like Bill, his wife not so much. He's on the list of Presidents I could hang out with at a barbeque.  In the spirit of full disclosure, Bush Jr is also on the list.

In trotting out the husband Hillary has violated the girl code-Fight your own battles. IMO, this is like what Palin did when she dragged all those kids around.

I looked at Palin with all those kids hanging off her and thought "This woman can't find a nanny and she wants to VP?"

When Hillary was FLOTUS the problem I had with her is she acted like she was POTUS. Grant it, she was bright and educated-she just wasn't elected.

IMO,as a woman if you want to be taken seriously you've got to fight your own battles, having your husband come flying in like Might Mouse singing "HERE I AM TO SAVE THE DAY!" just doesn't cut it.

Hillary Clinton and the Benghazi Hearings

Media reports are that Ms. Clinton improved her image in the hearings, they were actually compared to the McCarthy hearings. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?  Maybe these reporters didn't watch the hearing?

In the interest of full disclosure I didn't watch the entire thing, my time is too valuable and my HINKY METER is too finely tuned. What I saw was just more of the Clinton spin.  The same condescending attitude that she displayed as First Lady and Senator from New York. I saw the same eye-rolling and smirking, her acting like citizens are nothing than pee under her boots.

I wasn't impressed.

Hillary Clinton's Worst Enemy?

During the Democratic debate the question was asked of Ms. Clinton "Who is the enemy you're proud of?"  We all know her response, she rambled around with her usual drivel ending up with the Republicans.

WRONG. Clearly, IMO, Hillary's worst enemy is and always has been HERSELF and Lord is she enamored with herself. IMO she is nothing more than an effete intellectual snob considering herself better than "the working folk" but lacking in substance.

As they say in Texas... ALL HAT NO CATTLE.

Hillary Now Has A Southern Accent GMAB

I just heard Mrs. Clinton speaking to a crowd in Arkansas where she used the phrase "working folk". OMG, how desperate has she become.

IIRC one of the problems that Ms Clinton had as first lady of Arkansas was her inabilty to connect with the Arkansas people. I can't really fault her, my initial reservation with President Clinton was that rather than rising up Arkansas he would lower the standards of more progressive areas. (Kind of like Fiorina's track record with HP and Lucent.)

Why does she keep coming on. Hey Hillary, if you're reading here, please step aside, I think people are on to you.

Is The Tide Turning?

I have noticed in the last week or so the media's attitude toward Donald Trump changing.  What was once perceived as a joke, just a summer dalliance appears to be viewed as a serious Presidential run. In boycotting the CNBC debate Trump and Carson just schooled the media in The Art of The Deal.

WHY CAN'T THE ELECTION BE NOW?

The Democratic Debate YAWN

Last night I was looking forward to Mr. Trump tweeting the debate. I think he fell asleep, I know I sure did. I saw about five minutes of Hillary and Sanders, I still don't know who the other people were. IMO Bernie Sanders looks like a guy whose flight is delayed, Hillary-WHATEVER.

Donald Trump on 60 Minutes

Tonight's 60 Minutes interview was IMO totally lacking in respect and almost mocking.  Since the last debate and the face off with FOX News it seems that the media coverage has gone from amusing and good for ratings to trying to make Mr. Trump look foolish.

Hey Donald, are you reading? You did contribute to this change in attitude.  Making faces during the last debate didn't exactly appear Presidential, I loved it, I love the insults and unPC tone.

It seems that Fiorina is the new media golden girl, maybe instead of commenting on her face someone should comment on her record.  All the attention seems to be focused on HP, but I think Lucent was a bigger disgrace.

Donald Trump vs FOX News

Fox claims to refuse to interview Trump, Trump claims to boycott Fox. I've been watching Fox since this campaign started, it was always Trump all the time, now it's pretty boring all the time.

Tonight they're going to have Rand Paul on.... YAWN. What is the point to watching him?

No Trump on Fox means no Fox for me, I'd prefer to watch paint dry.

Sarah Palin? Please say it isn't so.

I saw speculation somewhere that Sarah is in consideration-please no Gawd, I couldn't take it.

I was in The Villages for the last time. She pulled up with her bus full of children, all I could think is "She can't even find a nanny and she wants to run a country?"

Joe Biden singing The Villages Florida Song

Back in the day, 2008 The Villages in Florida rejected Obama and Biden from making an official campaign stop. Every Republican does the Villages, heck even Sarah Palin showed with her 36 children. Obama's people presented the residents with petition that did absolutely NO GOOD.

Joe Biden took another approach, brought his bus in and asserted his right to have an ice cream and pay homage to the Villages song.

For your listening pleasure, here you go.

Hey Donald Trump I Have To Know

A few nights ago I watched the speech in Alabama-color me impressed. I never knew anyone who went to Alabama on purpose. While you were there you brought up Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg being appointed Ambassador to Japan.  I know you seem to be of the opinion that she's not up to the job, IMO she is dull and "an odd duck".  My concern is what you do with her when you become POTUS, does she really have to come home or can we leave her there?

Anchor Babies? What is the big deal?

Yesterday Donald Trump and the Bush kid were both criticized for calling children of undocumented aliens "Anchor Babies", they both asked for alternative-it's not easy to come up with an alternative, but I did.

I don't consider the term offensive, just inaccurate.  IMO all children are anchors, the hang onto your shirt, whine, tattle tale. They have a tendency to drip snot and put hand prints all over the house. I think to differentiate between "anchor babies" and plain old pain in the neck children they should be called "bebes ancla" or potential over-breeders. Regular plain old American children can then be called "albatross babies".

Yep, it's all about perception.

Emigration, Immigration and Deportation

Notice the blog name change?  Previously it was titled what did Donald Trump Do Now?  After reading the content I realized it wasn't about what he actually did, it was more focused on what I thought he should do. I'm VERY SMART, so listen up.

Immigration seems to be a big issue. How should it be handled, how can we turn our illegal aliens into happy little emigrants from the USA.

I firmly believe that reality is an elusive thing based on perception. A week or so ago in someplace called Iowa the campaign gave helicopter rides to children, the kids seemed happy. It appeared that they were all returned. My observation is that free rides is a great way to get rid of the illegals. Shipping them out on helicopters seems too time consuming, maybe get a big boat. Tell them they won a cruise, load them up give them coupons for a free slurpee (nobody can resist a freebie) and leave them there-how hard is that-easy peasy.

Donald Trump Wants To Deport Illegal Immigrants and Their Children

Well, that works for me. I wonder if there is any way we can keep some of the parents and just unload the kids? You know, sometimes the adults can be useful-the offspring not so much.

I think an even better idea would be to confiscate the children and sell them.  Due to dependable birth control and legal abortion there is a serious shortage in the baby market. This could be integrated with the Planned Parenthood plan, why sell the body parts like an old Chevy when you can sell the whole kid. The money received from the sale could be used to bring down the national debt-EVERYONE WINS.

HEY DONALD, People are afraid-they are very afraid

Your stand on immigration sounds good, but if you really take the time to process it, it would be a scary new world.

I remember back to the "good old days", they were good for me, very good.  Part of what made it so good was we had great immigrants to do the hard work and if things went awry we had politicians that we had bought to deal with it.

My friends and I were discussing this over lunch.  Does anyone else remember when INS invaded Wellington Florida?  It was not a good day. We were all forced to pick out our own manure, some of us didn't even know what the little SPEDS ate.

What's happening now is everyone is running around marrying their landscapers and barn help. I really hope you win the election or there will be a lot of divorces.

Please think about all the ramifications of immigration reform.

Born on Third Base?

Yesterday I was having a conversation with my driver about the Donald Trump campaign and he said "He was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple". I've hears the media saying the same thing and glowing with what they perceive as wittiness and the truth.

IMO, being born into some money, although it's a good thing, isn't the difficult part. Maintaining it and making it grow is the killer.

Donald, are you reading?  If I were Donald I would stress the normal stuff. I don't think most people know you're from Queens, that your mother was an immigrant from Scotland. Wasn't your grandfather a barber? I think it's time to spit out the silver spoon, people don't know how hard-working your family is.

Maybe you should lose the pink and yellow ties-very common.

Who Gives Donald Trump Advice?

Last night on Hannity they asked Trump who he listens to, his answer was everyone. IMO, great answer and maybe that's why he's doing so great.

I see a big change in the last week or so, he appears to have toned it down a bit, almost like he realized that this could actually work.

Now Donald, (are you reading?) what I would like to see is someone bringing up Carly Fiorina's history, particularly relating to her time at Lucent Technologies. This woman seems to be picking up a little steam but she reminds me of a bored Greenwich housewife.

Y'know, this is the most fun of any campaign.

Why are people not taking the Donald Trump campaign seriously?

I'm just not getting it, maybe it's a geographic/cultural thing. I personally can't stand listening to a "ah shucks" group. In my mind they just don't get it.

When did having money and being successful become a bad thing and something to aspire to.  Why do people say "He has money" like it was a hairball stuck in there throat?

Today I saw an interview from Scotland where Mr. Trump seemed to be defending himself about being a nice guy. I think he probably is, but who cares? The question should be "Can he get the job done?" Does he have a proven track record of success. Would he make a good President?

THE DEBATES

Mr. Trump has stated that he hasn't got a debate coach and he's not boning up on the issues. I totally agree, I have never believed in cramming-it just doesn't accomplish much. I don't think Donald Trump has done much debating lstely, I believe he probably tells people what to and that's it-LOL. My favorite Donald Trump comment of the week pertains to President Obama's lack of job creation. I just loved when he said that Obama made a job for Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg. This one should be a classic.

Let's talk about Rick Perry

Last night I saw Rick Perry on some news show, I have to agree with Donald Trump, I think the glasses are an effort to appear smarter. Hey Rick, if you're reading here, IT'S NOT WORKING. He sounded just as stupid as he always has. Hey Rick, do something about about that left eyebrow, it's flopping around, reminds me of a ventriloquist dummy-what was his name Charlie McCarthey? Now here's the thing, if he wants to appear smarter he should stay in Texas. With exception of Houston it's a pretty dopey place. I remember back in the day there was chatter in Texas that they should secede, maybe then he could be President-but then again maybe not.

Who is Kasich? Anyone ever heard of him?

Today on the news I heard a comment that was allegedly made, something to the effect that the dabates will be like a Nascar race where one of the drivers were drunk. HUH? First of all, I know nothing about the Nascar thing. Isn't that where they drive in circles for hours and never get anywhere? How could you even think about doing it drunk? I'd fall asleep just watching it, forget about driving in it-I just don't get it. IMO, it's the same as taking your boat on a lake-what's the point, it doesn't go anywhere. Now, what is with this Kasich guy-never heard of him. I hear he's from Ohio or somewhere out there, I guess that explains it. I don't think Trump drinks. I guess when they pick on nonsense like this he must be doing something right. The man is a self-made billionaire, not the circus clown he has been portrayed as.

So much for Wisconsin and Walker.

Nobody today seems to be talking about them, I think they're done.  I'm not surprised, according to recent polls nobody has ever heard of either one of them. You'd think that back in the day when that wrestler (Hulk Hogan?)became governor they would milked it more attention. Isn't Mitsubishi where Mary Tyler Moore lived and they made cheese at the Schotz brewelry.

I'm from NY, we make money.

Donald Trump for President?

I'm loving the Trump campaign, finally a candidate who is saying what we all say amongst ourselves, but will it sell in the Plains? Answer-Who cares.

I think that in running for President he is already selling himself short.  I really don't get it. Let's face it, he doesn't need the job, he sure doesn't need the office space maybe he really wants to straighten out this mess.

Today, the issue of the day is Walker-I never heard of him.  I have heard of Wisconsin but don't know where it is, nor do I care-so much for Walker.

One of my favorite quotes is-"If you have to think anyway, think big". (Of course I'm paraphrasing, my time is too valuable to actually research it). Is the Presidency really big enough.
